Making Christian Thinkers
Reading Program

A Thoughtful Reading Program for university students and faculty in Indiana and in GFM. InterVarsity Christian Fellowship

Life is full of classes, homework, and IVCF activities not to mention social life. It's challenging to maintain personal reading habits that feed and nourish our spirits.

"Making Christian Thinkers" can:

This is HOW it Works

First, we strongly suggest you find a study partner and go through the plan together. When you finish reading ANY three entries marked with an asterisk and one entry marked with two asterisks, you will receive the first scholarship incentive.

The scholarship incentives can be used toward IVCF Training like Summit and Fall, Grad, or Greek Conference, SLT, Global Projects, Spring Break Mission Trips, Urbana, Cedar Campus Weeks, Urban Projects, Evangelism Projects, etc. You may read books from any of the sections just as long as you have three single asterisk and one double asterisk entries read.

Recording

After doing the reading, you need to sit down with your staff worker and share what was most helpful from the book or send a half page book review to Joe B. Whitchurch (IVCF GFM Staff for Indiana) at jbw@insightbb.com for each of the books you completed, including one for the Bible portion. After completing a section of 3* and 1** let Joe know which training or student you'd like the scholarship applied toward. Scholarships can be transferred to another student at your request.

It's that simple and flexible! You don't even have to buy the books - just borrow them from your staff worker or friends.

There are 8 Incentive Levels.
